Images from this shoot have been spattered across social media for the last six months. Okay, i'll admit it. I'm obsessed with them! There was just so much to share! Having the opportunity to put ideas to life, work with a few of my favorite people, while enjoying beautiful weather at the beach?! I'll take it. I wasn't the only one who captured something wonderful out of this shoot. Tom Gilkey (videographer extraordinaire), tagged along to create a One Minute Documentary of everything behind-the-scenes, capturing it in a whole other light. **Check out his video below!** A big shout out to our gorgeous models: Shayli, the Mad Scientist who made the smoke bombs from scratch. Kristin, who once again wooed me with her sense of style and wardrobe choices. The combination of all of the creatives for this day truly made it shine!
Hello and welcome to Emma Gaty Photography's very first blog post! What better way to kick off the beginning of a new Senior class than a party!? An overwhelming number of applications were received, leading to this fabulous group. This year we have 15 girls from six schools! That's 11 more Senior Models representing four more schools than last year. Needless to say, this class has some exciting, beautiful things in store!
Planning this party was so much fun! I knew I wanted to have all of the girls together to get to know one another, and get excited for this school year! The theme was Gold. Golden year: being seniors, 15 girls from the Class of 2015! This party could not go without gold painted champagne flutes (with sparkling cider and pink lemonade of course), Pinterest food galore, and a flashy gold backdrop to do what we do best - take photos and have fun doing it! The party was a major success. With so many creative and funny photos throughout the day. I can confidently say that I am not the only one excited for the first 2015 Senior Model shootout!
Thank you to my fantastic friends for helping me during the party, and all of the preparations. Tom, who was there to capture video of the moments for an upcoming project. And as always, THANK YOU Jen, my talented cousin and co-photographer who is always willing to shoot beside me on such big events.
